Dovecot_plain authenticator failed in cPanel server

Issue: You get the following error while accessing your email account:

2014-09-08 14:03:43 dovecot_plain authenticator failed for ([127.0.0.1]) [IP ADDRESS]:59278 I=[IP ADDRESS]:465: 535 Incorrect authentication data (set_id=email@domain_name)

Fix: Users with root access can fix this problem through WHM using the following steps:

1. Login to WHM
2. Locate the Email section in the left-side panel
3. Select Repair Mailbox permissions
4. Click Proceed.
